Sephora by OPI released it’s Safari Luxe mini polish pack containing a nude, a dusty green, and an orange with shimmer. So I made it mine. This is SOPI Don’t Feed The Hand Models.
COLOR: This is a beige nude creme. Even though the flash would make you think not, this is actually a pretty good match to my skin tone. It makes me look super yellow here though.
FORMULA & APPLICATION: The formula on this was so-so. Application sucked, due the mini sized bottle, brush, and handle. It was like painting my nails with a needle. Or a nail art pen. Either way, it all surmounted to an uneven, patchy finish. This is three coats.
WEAR: This wore really good. This was day two with no tip wear or chips. Amazing.
When I did finally get some tip wear, I turned to Konad to revive the mani.
This was SOPI Caught With My Khaki’s Down stamped with Konad M57 and topped with one coat Seche Vite. I love this color combo. I kept this on for three whole days.
I love the pattern on this finger.
Do you have and Sephora by OPI polishes? Do you find they’re worth the extra dollar?

This is a base of Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait and Konad M57 stamp in Revlon Hot For Chocolate. YES. I am addicted to Hot For Chocolate. It’s the perfect brown! I’d never wear it alone though, it’s not my style. Excellent for Konad-ing though.
Now… me and Cafe Au Lait need to have a talk. I’m looking for a mannequin hands polish. My perfect match. Cafe Au Lait is 100% perfect… except for in the sun. The sun brings out the peachyness of this polish. But it doesn’t show the peach in my skin– booo! =)
Also, the wear on this is unbelievably… bad. This picture was taken after exactly 48 hours. It’s hard to tell because of the color, but there is crazy tip wear. And I didn’t type AT ALL those two days.
That being said, I love this Konadicure overall. It’s neutral and demure, with a kick. LOVE IT.
Yay, Konad! Oh, how it’s an addictive little hobby. Here is my most recent one. I don’t have much to say about it, except all nail polishes are fantastic for their purposes.
Ta-da! It’s a little… smudgy. Oh well. I used Konad m57, the fishnet one. Obviously. =) As always, click on the picture for full detail and HD pictures.
Right now I’m trying to find my “mannaquin hands” shade. I had one at one point, but I don’t know where it went! I bought Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait from their Complete Salon Manicure collection. It’s nice, and it’s almost my skin tone, but it’s just slightly too peachy. Although it’s close enough to still give me the effect. Pictures to come, I think. =)
